Well, I did my first floor job yesterday (Sunday) and boy what an eye opener!
I calculated 6 hours to do 1,000 sq.ft. with the reasoning behind it being that I know I would be taking my time to understand everything, learn how to use the swing machine, etc.
One thing I realized pretty early was that I under estimated the amount of time I thought it was going to take. I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to take all the furniture to of the room to do the floor all at one. So I had to move the furniture from one side to the other and complete that side and then do the same for the other side. Was pretty difficult moving all that furniture by myself!
Don't laugh, but I started the job at 8am and left at midnight (that included a 2 hour power outage that just made things worse). Oh well, you live and learn...
Over all the floor came out ok, could have been better but not bad for my first time. The test will be when I go and see them this morning and see what they have to say.
I'd like to finish this post by thanking Bill once again. I called him a few times for help and questions. Thanks Bill, your help and advise is worth a million bucks!!!

You're welcome, sorry it took so long. Could have been more help if I was in the area.

Congratulations Stephan, Yes, strip and recoat is a lot of work. I do one or two every 2 weeks. It is a good workout! Max Ps. 4-6 hrs is normally the drying and re-aplying time. (Here it is due to the high humidity and now the cold, it all takes longer)
