Wondering what to charge fpr VCT floor buffing, stripping and waxing and top scrubbing per sq./ft. I have a ball park figure so far of .07/sq. ft. for buffin. .13 sq.ft. for top scrubbing and re-coat and .23 sq. ft. for complete stripping and waxing. are these great rates and should that rate include materials or no. I have been doing floor for several companies over the last 12 years and have decided to branch in to business for myself, hoping this is a competitive price in the nc area. Any thought would be great thanks.

In tn where I am , my price for stripping is .35 to .50 according to volume and if it comes with a service aggreement. I price buffing by the time and not the sq ft. If it takes average 30 mins than I charge ........$30 if it takes 45 minutes than I charge $45. If it takes more than 1 hr than I might make a small adjustment according to how often floors are done. Thats just my way of pricing it.

Hi, I too have questions about the pricing for floor care.
I've been passed on the quarterly duties for some locations... strip and wax / carpet extraction. I'm unsure what the rates should be. I'm at .08 sq. ft. with a service agreement. IN
I also do regular floor care; scrub / buff VCT 5 days a week for a few locations. I was just informed of "budget cuts" for 3 of these locations...does that happen???
What a Great forum... thanks to everyone.
