I have a company that wants me to bid the carpet cleaning. It will be done by bonnet or encapsulation. It has about 1800 sf of carpet to clean. Which is no problem. The problem is they insist that i use there products that the carpet warranty says to use. I normally charge .20 sf when i use my own chemicals. Should i use there chemical or run and will i be charging enough?

I would have no problem using their product. Bonnet and or encapsulation chemical is all pretty close to same price. It does not take much to do 1800 sq ft. I would tell them no problem but that I had not used their brand before so therefore I could not say what the end results would be. The end result will probably be real close to what you have now. If they are persistent on warranty issues they might find that the warranty also says that the carpet cleaner should be certified by IICRC. I think more and more manufactures are leaning that way. To be on safe side, read up on the chemical they require and see what it does, how to use it and what follow up procedures to use.

I'd use their chemical as it's their own choice - they just want to use a professional to do the job. Just tell them that although you'll do your best, you've never used that product before. --- Professional carpet cleaning Liverpool
