Be careful. Some solvents such as solvent clean, can actually swell the padding up if it sets on it to long. If that happens the swelling can stay even after dry. Also do not ever scrub the carpet with brush . Instead use the brush to tap on top of spots being worked on. If you scrub the carpet you can fray the fiber ends. It can even be frayed using a towel or bonnet if scrubbed to hard. When we use solvents we immediately extract it out with dry suction. We may do this several times before actually adding the water/solution through the spray tips. This will keep the solvent from getting into the padding to much.

Try using ChemDry's professional cleaning kit - there's something for everything in there. I would not recommend citrus based solvents.

Well, Damp one piece of cloth in vinegar and on the adhesive leave it overnight. Next morning, eliminate of the adhesive by rubbing with piece of clean cloth but be sure the cloth which your going to use should be dry. With that damp cloth wash that particular area .Then use mineral oil with clean cloth and swab the adhesive from the affected area.

Yes,it is true that carpet cleaning is one of the difficult task for everyone because if dust is comes in carpet then it will not work properly. For that you have to clean your carpet 3 to 4 times in year so dirt is removes from that and your carpet will look good.

To determine the best carpet for a rental house, your selection should involve whether or not children or pets will reside in the home, whether or not the carpeted area will be a high-traffic area--if your tenant has a lot of guests--and the time period that the rental property will be occupied.

When your vacuum cleaner and bottles of rug shampoo stop giving you the results you want, it may be time to consider the services of one of these companies. But professional carpet cleaning can be expensive, so it's worth your time to shop around for the best deal.

You don't want to leave solvent residues in your carpet.
Of course, if you prefer, just call in the professionals.
