I have used Betco Hybird 25 for several years. About a year ago I started to notice a difference in it. Three coats use to be enough. It had a great shine and held up well with maint. Now Three coats looks like two coats. I am having to put on 4 to 5 coats to get same results I use to get with 3. I asked my supplier to check into it a year ago and he hasn't been able to get an answer. I guess they had to change something to save money. Not sure. Have any of you noticed a difference in the chemicals you use?

;DHappy New Years Dan: I haven't noticed a great difference. Sometimes it's difficult to determine if its the finish or the floor you are working on. Of course, I don't use the same chemicals you use here in Ontario. Trust everything is going well.

Thanks Bill . I have stripped some of the same floors I did a couple of years ago. The finish is not doing the same. I really believe it was changed . IF it just happened on one , I might think differently but it has been on several. I hate it when something that works great gets changed or for sure looks like it has . I have been through several different orders of the finish and from two different suppliers. Wish that the cost of the chemical would come down when the quality goes down. It has been a busy month down here and still some more work comming in. Hope its a good sign for the future.

Dan have you ever tried any of NCL products (National Chemical Laboratories) nclonline.com i really like there 27/7 floor finish i can put 3 coats down and it looks like you've put 5 coats down. I have also used there one coat 25 and withstand both good finishes but love the 24/7.

All we use are Betco Products, As far as their finish is concerned we use the untouchable finish. It holds up well and gives a great shine. Once it is buffed you have a wet look shine to it. I tried other products from other companies but none seem to hold up as well. I am very pleased with the results from their products.

Salamander, you are not to far from me, where do you get the NCL?
