start here -> usacleaning.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Starting&action=display&thread=1409Then -> There are several answers, and several things that you must do. Listed below are some top answers in no specific order of importance, all new sales require effort and time. 1-Flyers and Business Cards (Hand them out to everyone) 2-Mailers and Post Cards (Should be designed and sent out monthly) 3-Word of mouth (Tell all your friends and family that you clean, have them tell a person) 4-Flyers posted in community stores supermarkets 5-Website 6-Vehicle Advertising 7-Cross Promotion-Business (For example make a deal with a store to give away a free cleaning, in exchange for a entry box placed in there store. (Then call upon these customers that fill out an entry and offer them a special cleaning price) The better the store the better results you will get) 8-Cross Promotion- Residential Clean for one customer, tell them to refer you to a friend or family, then give them a deal off next 9-Email , Fax Marketing go to Yahoo local directory and send out as many emails or faxes as possible daily to the clients you wish to have. 10-Linking even if you do not have a website, there are lost of websites that will give you a free listing start with the big ones first Yahoo and Google. 11- Door hangers (develop a door hanger, and place them in selected areas. 12- I do not suggest newspapers, unless you can get a free add, some towns have monthly small magazine publications that members have had good results with 13- Join your local Chamber of Commerce, Network with other professional businesses in your area. 14-Sales Agent - Find people that will refer your business for a percentage of the sale. This is a good start, more to follow I'm sure from other members.

Talk directly to who is in charge of the scheduling and give them your card, This is the only way I do it. It is personable and gives you a chance to prove yourself.
