Many fragrances that are added to laundry detergents, fabric softeners or other cleaners can cause serious health problems like headache, respiratory irritation, watery eyes, sneezing in sensitive people or those suffering from asthma or allergy. Therefore, the next time you go to shop for any of these make sure that they do not contain any toxic agents or otherwise has a very strong fragrance.

Even some bathing soaps, cleaning agents and detergents have strong fragrances. I avoid buying them most of the times.

Scientific studies have shown that fragrance has neurotoxic properties. Many times the fragrance present in body care products causes headaches, nausea, asthma and allergies.
