Okay, wasn't sure how to say the subject, I have windows, big window panes, the highest about 30 feet, if not higher, the prob is the brickers left alot of concrete on them, well, it is raining, all night tonight and into the morning, the sun might not even come out tomorrow, I was wondering, have any of you ever used the rain as a helper, all this concrete is going to be wet wet wet, and I wonder if it wouldn't be worth just going and getting the concrete off. There are too many workers there to do any more than that. Janice

If your talking about concrete splatters, I would say yes easier wet, but if your going to be soaking the windows down anyway,do it in nicer weather, why make yourself uncomfortable. Although do the job today, and it leaves an opening for tomorrow....

ohhhh.. fabrication debris on the window itself... i was thinking something else about this post and that is way i have not responded. i never used to touch windows if they have fabrication debris on it such as concrete or grout because of the risk of scratching the window. i have found a product that works great dissolving concrete on glass called "back-set". back-set molecular cement dissolver is a unique acid alternative formulated by RoMix, Inc. "back-set" works on the molecular level breaking down the ionic bond of the cement, turning it to a rinse free mud! back-set is non-hazardous, non-corrosive, non-DOT regulated, and is biodegradable. you can get it at your local janitorial store or they will be able to get it for you. get this product or be very careful of scratching the window!

Will get today! and thank you so much, I was so afraid of scratching these windows. I figured the overhangs would keep the windows from getting wet enough to do the trick. Should I charge the builder for there being concrete on windows, it is not very bad

No one here has heard of that product from Ro-mix, So I am off to find the Wizard, Wish me luck, I agree with the scratching info, and some of these windows are up to 30 feet high and they are big window panes that can not be folded in, So it is me and the yellow brick road! Janice
