I forgot to mention. I never give a price over the phone. If they are serous about hiring you they should have no problem about you coming out to give a FREE EVALUATION.

I would charge between $120 to $150 per clean. Things that would make the price higher is, are there pets in the home, how many people live in the home, how they maintain the home during that month that your not there. Have you seen the home yet? if not you should because this can give you a idea of how much time its going to take you to clean there home and go from there. Good Luck! I hope this helps a little.

I do the same thing. I walk in with my pad and pin to take notes find there likes and dislikes when it comes to cleaning there home. I explain how we do our cleaning than figure out the amount of time it will take to do the clean. I let them know how many cleaners will be in there home and the type of products i will use. . I always run with 2 cleaners one of them being a team leader and explain this to the home owner and show them a sample check list that will be used in there home. my close rate is about 95%

I joined a Internet lead service (one of the bigger ones on the net) and they promised me the world saying they have a large number of leads out there for cleaners. Well I got a lot of leads like they said but most of them were people just doing price checking or leads that would not pick up the phone. I don't mind spending the money for leads, but would like most of them to be real. any one know of a lead system that services Michigan that really works and wont break my bank with bad leads?

I pay by the job. i always have a team leader on the job and they make a little more then the other cleaners. Say i have a home that i know will take 3 hours ($120 for the job) the pay for the cleaner is $30 and the team leader gets $35. Its up to the team leader to make sure the home is cleaned the right way and the client is happy. This saves time for me to market more work. I do this for my apartments as well just on a lower pay rate.
