What distance from my office would be to far of a drive to an account for it to be worth it. I work in trenton, and i just got a call from ann arbor ,and its not a big account ,just small office building, would it even be worth it to drive all the way out there?

I personally would not drive an hour for an account unless it paid BIG. That is 2 hours drive time that I could have cleaned almost 2 of my nearby accounts in and made over a hundred. Naw, I wouldn't say it's worth it.

I think Natalie is right 2 hours with these gas prices, the customer better pay above average for your time and fuel.

Gazi,
Why not hire someone to clean the account that lives closer to it than you do?
Again, as somone else posted, it depends on how large an account it is. But a three or five-day account could be large (and profitable) enough to hire someone, train them and let them perform the daily work. Then you would only have to visit the account to do an inspection and P.R. witht he client!
