The other thread is extremely busy, created this one to keep the program alive with services that need help. Go through the first post make sure they have the help then pick a member from this thread Original Thread usacleaning.proboards30.com/index.cgi?board=Starting&action=display&thread=1130165099Original Post To some of you powerhouse cleaning and janitorial services in here. I know everyone is busy.. but if you have a couple of hours a week to be a tutor. Find a newbie in the forum. Contact them and offer to adopt them for a couple of months. Of course they dont have to be from your state, they can be anywhere. You can teach them the ropes and inform them of what they should and should not do. Rebuild your business through another company, let someone learn from your mistakes When you do adopt a service, send the newbie a PM or email, if they want your service, then place the link to this members profile in your profile as: I am the Mentor of usacleaning.proboards30.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=cleaner Only condition is that this Newbie, after you release them from tutoring, has to do the same for another newbie. The newbie that you are mentoring should also place a link in their profile stating they are being mentored from you. If you are a newbie and would like some personal training post here what type of help your looking for, and how much time a week you have for training.

Kevin: I know I need help but I'm not sure it's for the janitorial business LOL. I'd be more than happy to adopt a newbie and give them what help I can, if there is someone out there just PM me with any questions that you might have. Remember, ignorance is not not knowing the answer, it's being afraid to ask for help . ( I can't believe I just made that up)

Quote, "ignorance is not knowing the answer, its being afraid to ask for help." At one of the schools I attend , they have a slogan, "Think education is expensive, try ignorance." Education is usually expensive but the use of this forum is not. It is rare to be able to get any education with out it costing a lot. So use this forum to its fullest capacity so that ignorance can go away and hopefully save us thousands of dollars due to not knowing ,what we can question ???and know. :PI about lost myself on that one.

Just caught this thread and if it is still alive and the mentor program is still happening I would love to have some help. I already have found mistakes I've made just by reading some of the posts on here. I want to make my business a success for me and my family. Any help that you would offer would be greatly appreciated. I am 100% dedicated and am available anytime at this point because I don't want to rush into this and start making a bad name for my company from the start. Thanks guys.

I've been off this group for awhile. Not by choice, but family obligations. I was getting my business of the ground and I had to stop. Well I'm back and ready to get it back going. is there anyone that would be willing to be my mentor? I will return the favor to another newbie.

I'll be relocating back home to Atlanta in April and I was really hoping to find a mentor here.
I'm interested in construction clean up, cleaning restaurants and doing turn cleans for real estate investors. Figuring out pricing is seriously blowing my mind! There seem to be so many factors to keep in mind. I don't want to leave too much money on the table and short myself out of a deal or go to high and lose out on an opportunity. Also, I'll have to work and do my business part time. With that said I have to figure out if I want a day job or night job while I grow the business.
I plan on joining the Metro Atlanta Chamber and Georgia Real Estate Investors association. Other than that, I have the business incorporated but that's about it. No uniforms and no equipment just yet. Speaking of equipment I need to learn how to operate most of it anyway!
Anyone willing to take me on and be my mentor is a saint in my eyes. Especially if you can help me address the issues above!!! Thanks for all your help.
