where can I get bid sheets for residential & commecial construction? Where can I find the specifications or checklists for both areas. Is it better to focus on final construction at first and then move to the other stages ? lastly what equip. do I need for residential & commecial.
I think this would be a good area because I have a lot of guys that want to work.I only use women for the residentials. I think that women clients would feel less comfortable with a man cleaning for them. Women clean house better than men most of the time

I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW AS A MAN I FIND THAT STATEMENT TO BE.........true. My initial push for Renovare was residential. I don't overlook the market, but I do believe your statement is correct.
AHEM...Respectfully, my comrade in cleaning cloths, oh compatriot in cleanser I do point out a lot of the beards you see on IJCSA Members (the founder, for example) are not due to abrupt and improper withdrawl of HRT, nor did we come to this industry because our Freak Show Booth in the Circus was closed down. ;D
A number of gents here....who might fiddle when something Roman burns after such a statement! :-)
All in fun with my warped sense of humor! :-) We do have a forms area on these boards....lemme do some hunting real quick...I'll post again with the link.

I right now do only post construction clean up and can make more money doing so but its hard to find contracts because its a one time clean most contracters go by having people call thier office and submitting a bid generally 10-25 cents per sq. ft. for houses and 5-25 cents per commercial. The equipment you need is a cheap vacuum because it will be ruined after about 10 homes if your not careful and a good mop and basic house cleaning equipment. Theres alot of money in it if you are quik and can kick out between 5-8 homes a day. This is easy money.

I think gonna try it.What factors do I base my bid on. Whats the difference between a .05 bid and a .25 bid. What should I try first, comm. or res? I was thinking comm. would be easier. Whats the average time for both jobs?

Here is a link to a good website that tells so much about the new construction cleaning (rough phase, final phase, etc.) if anyone is interested. www.constructioncleanup.com/Patti

One thing to be careful of in commercial construction clean up, a lot of companies are using marble, granite, slate, linoleum and other materials that require some specialized knowledge to handle them properly. Please, be prepared for this, if you ruin a marble floor or granite in an elevator, you are going to take a BIG HIT.

I just called service magic and told them to switch me to Construction cleanup. Kinda nervous about it but I figure I have to step on faith and try it. If a contractor lets me bid, do I bid the stages seperately or just on big bid. Hopefully its final construction but in the event, are all three stages the same price? Supplies? When do I start the different phases?

if you want to offer any service you really should do your homework. have you ever even done new construction clean up and do you know what it entails? are you going to be hauling stuff away in a dump truck or are you just doing interior work. get your ducks in order before service magic starts getting you leads. as far as the bidding goes..... bid as much as you can and get as much work out of any prospect that you can. just make sure you can back it up. this is just my CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. i WELCOME ANY TO ME.

i'm not just gonna jump in blindly. that would stupid of me. researching should be done everyday in order to enhance knowledge. i know what it entails? i don't plan on hauling unless its to an on-site dumpster. just interior work.
