I have been in business for about two months. I am doing very well with residential customers. I would like to get into commercial. Is there somewhere that you can find out the people that are accepting bids to get their offices cleaned? Or do I spend a few days calling every business? Is there a web site that will show me everything I need to know about what kind of forms to use to place a bid. How do I determine what to charge. What kind of information needs to be in the contract? Any info will be really helpful. If you want to email with anything my email is cesmith0709@yahoo.com

Unless you are bent on getting into commercial , I would expand your residential division first. Better profit margins for the most part in residential , lower need to purchase high productivity equipment. In commercial the margins can be very thin at least in my area. If you must enter the commercial market, I recommend targeting stand alone, businesses and not go after national chains. Remember you are in the business to make NET PROFIT not just large gross revenues. It is what goes to the bottom line that pays the bills. In our area, most larger office buildings are run be management or development companies and you need to get close to the purchasing manager. Chamber of Commerce etc to get acquainted with these guys. Forms galore on this site as well as sponsors. Be prepared to manage teams of staff, and the cost involved as well as supervision.
