Someone correct me if I am wrong, but new construction is something that has already been built and post construction is something in the process of being built?? Then again, new construction could be something in the process of being built, which would make them one in the same lol Ok, someone help with this

I think for construction clean-up, some companies call it new construction cleaning and others call it post construction cleaning. But some companies just do the new construction cleans (they do a final clean) Other companies do all 3 phases of the cleaning. Patti

pre spotting a carpet is something you do before cleaning the carpet. Post spotting is something you do after carpet is cleaned. A pre game report is something on before the game. A post game report is something done after game is over. I think pre contstrution cleaning is something done before construction is complete and Post Construction Cleaning is done after construction is complete. New Construction could be in either catagory.

This is the way I explain it on my bid forms:
I call construction clean up performed between the trades....ROUGH construction Cleaning I call post-construction cleaning just before the homeowner moves in and after all trades are complete....FINAL Construction Cleaning and I call it a RE-CLEAN when the FINAL clean has already been finished but afterward, more trades came through to "FIX" things just before the homeowner moves in. The builder then calls me back in to "re-clean." The re-clean is usually much easier than the FINAL, but it depends on how many trades came back in and how messy they were. I've had re-cleans that were almost as bad as the initial FINAL clean, so I suggest telling the builders you'll charge by the hour for the re-cleans. Hope this helps

There's no difference its the final clean. Site cleanup is during the building process.
