We will take the toliet paper and fold it into an arrow. I`ve heard of residential cleaning services purchasing mints with there logo on them and placing them on the pillows, like a hotel maid service, does anyone do this? What special things do you do residential cleaning that sets your service apart of your competition?, or what special things do you do that your customers have come to expect as normal routine?

I was thinking of using candle warmers with the candle. I use them at my home and thought others might like it. The warmers are around 5 bucks. What do u think?

Candles sound like a good idea! What does everyone average per customer on promo items?

I'm not big on promotional items for regular clients.
We did the toilet paper folding and always lowered the toilet bowl lids because women don't like to go around the house putting them all down.
I was talking to a friend last week and she has two dogs. She mentioned that she really appreciated it when her house cleaner cleaned her dog bowls.
Never did that with my service but I actually think it's a good idea!
Anybody else?

I always find that what customers appreciate the most is when we do extra little things that they weren't expecting us to do. It always makes their day. Patti

I agree an extra little bit of cleaning ,or doing something that you normally do not do. Really goes along way. Also might get you a sale for next time too!
