My monthly sales goal is to add 10,000 to my yearly gross sales. How am I going to do it?
1) On the first of the month I did a mass email to 100 prospective clients. It was a letter defining the services we offer and also had some coupons for new customers.
2) On the second of the month I followed up the 100 prospective clients with a hard copy letter, brochure and business card in the snail mail.
3) On the third and fourth of the month I had coupons faxed to the 100 prospective client.
4) On the fourth of the month I had two sales reps call the 100 prospective clients to try to set up some walk throughs. At the end of the day the results for the actions of my company was this:
1) Out of the 100 prospective clients that were called directly by a sales rep, 26 agreed to schedule a walk through.
2) Out of the 100 coupons faxed, 1 prospective client contacted us and agreed to a walk through primarily because of the faxed coupon. (This is one of the people that contacted me.)
3) Out of the 100 hard copy letters, brochures and business cards sent by snail mail, not one person contacted me. (It is still early, though. All the persistence MAY pay off.)
4) Out of the mass emails that were sent, not one replied due to the email and according to my email tracker, 67 people did not even open up the email.
So out of all the work done in hopes to generate new clients I got a total of 27 walk throughs scheduled for the next two weeks.
If I am luck I hope to get at least 5 new clients out of this which should be pretty easy. If you get the walk through, you are half way there. Out of all this I should EASILY gain 10,000 more a year, probably more.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO GET NEW CLIENTS?!!!!!!!!!!!
