I would say one of my greatest qualities is patience. I will head down to the boat, throw in the line and sit there all day doing paperwork/ webwork. Waiting for my bobber to dip beneath the surface of the water. Then, give a it a good tug. WOW! What a whopper! Now, being in business for a while now. Advertising my business is no different. It`s fishing, though I like to think that i`m casting my line in waters full of fish. Also there seems to be lots of fishermen around. Many fisherman want the BIG fish. I like Perch, in Michigan you can catch as many as you want, and keep as many as you want. Alot of Perch ad up to a nice dinner. Back to patience, so many new businesses think this business is going to happen overnight for them. They are newer owners maybe with college degrees thinking this is a no brainer business its simply cleaning. Then some time goes by, ( a week, month, quarter) and there watching their savings dwindle thinking "what am I doing wrong" Back to fishing: Most times when I talk to them, those other Fishermen. They are looking for the BIG fish. Spending big money on the big fancy lures that are only designed for a certain type of big fish. I explain to those fishermen, I like the crawlers. Seems like all types of fish will eat them, small, medium, big, whatever. Once again, alot of small fish add up to a good meal.
