Today was great! No matter that I had to work , deal with employees, pay bills, check on jobs and do paperwork.
As the day went on there was many simple things to make me smile.
Helping my grand daughter make some ice tea and get a big bowl of ice cream.
Helping my 14 year old son to make an omlet. Ah the fun , cutting up some meat, onion, sprinkling on the cheese. It was just as much fun watching him eat it with a big smile at his fabulous art piece.
Talking with my 28 year old son and listening to him tell of his jeep that he is working on.
Hearing from my 27 year old son and telling about the chicken house he just built for his 10 chicks and a mean rooster.
The woman at school standing in front of the long line of parents getting ready to enter to pic up their kids and watching her open the door and insisting that I go first.
The older lady that could barely hold a door open as I was in tax office and with all her might she tried to keep it open waiting on me to go out. She was smiling the whole time.
The woman I called at a mortgage company 80 miles away was so sorry that no one was there to sign a check from an insurance job I did that she promised me if I would come tommorow at 12 she would make sure someone would be there. She was so sincere and you could tell she actually cared even though it had nothing to do with her.
The letter I recieved from a Man in Florida who I had done a waterdamge job for. I had told him he could have a month to pay his $500 deductible to me, even though we usuallly ask for it up front. I just had a feeling he would pay. with the check he wrote a letter. He thinked me for having faith in him and patience. The last sentence read, " God Bless you and yours"
Well as you see I had a very Blessed day. I hope all of you have too even if it seems like you may not have. ;D
