a great trick to remove the yellow stain you are talking about is 1st: 1)strip the entire floor 2) neutralize the floor 3) mop the floor w/ clean water then- scrub the crap out of the stain w/ charcal fluid! 4)neutralize again 5) mop the floor w/ clean water and re- finish. acrylic works great on linoleum

oh... don't mix the charcal fluid w/ anything else or you may start seeing sparks in the air when there really isn't any...lol

Thanks so much for the information. I am going to talk to them about doing it. Like I said before I need all the help I can get when it comes to floors. They put the linoleum down over the top of the old about a year and a half ago. Is there a certain kind of stripper I should use? And I m thinking of maybe trying it in a small area to see if it will work. What do you think? Thanks again, kim
