Is it ok to use Mr Clean (blue bottle) or Murphy's Soap on a hardwood floor with polyurethane?
Thanks, Linda

Linda. You should never use Mr Clean on a polyurethane wood floor. You will ruin the finish. As for Murphy's Oil, we don't use it because over time it causes a build up on the wood. Just my opinion. Patti

We only use Zep Wood and Laminate Floor cleaner. Been using it for years. Never have had a problem. Patti

Is it ok to use Mr Clean (blue bottle) or Murphy's Soap on a hardwood floor with polyurethane? Thanks, Linda Hey Linda! Our home in Reno had beautiful 50+ year old hardwood floors that had a polyurethane finish. Murphy's was OK, but left floors looking dull where as Zep for hardwood and hardwood laminate sprayed on and mopped with terry cloth flat mop left a far Superior glow. We use the Zep on all our wood floors, on the job and at home. Natalie

Ok thanks everyone :-) I am going to have to talk to her, because she is a big Murphy's fan also. That's all she uses too. I will have to try this on mine too :-)

We also use the terry cloth flat mops to apply the Zep. That's very important. Patti
