One of my floor care locations has had a really nice ceramic/stone floor abused by a prior janitorial service. Although I am enjoying the benefits of coming in after a bad company and doing the job IJCSA-right, this floor breaks my heart. To add insult to injury, this store is right by the entrance to a shopping mall. A lighter color flooring (in the mall area) breaks over to this abused floor -- it's the first thing you see coming into the shop! Some kind of stripper was used on it, and it bleached the grout as well as damaged the finish. Is there anything I can do for this? Even if it reduces the visual impact. I apologize that the picture quality is not the best -- I took it with my cell phone camera. Clearly, I need to carry the digital cam on jobs. I'd really like to help this customer out. It's been great dealing with these people, but the manager of this site has been the absolute best! You can't even go in the backroom to escape the damage, the VCT there has splashes of wax, spots where wax dropped, footprints in it, dirt and marks waxed in. Thanks in advance. All the best! John : What kind of floor is it, I can't really tell from the picture. Are you sure the grout is bleached and not just clean? Anyway, there are methods to colour the grout again after it is clean. Let me know what kind of tile it is and we'll see if we can help you out. Almost looks like 12 x 12 porcelain or terrazzo from the picture. give me a call, in the office tomorrow afternoon, April the 10th. ;D

Thanks Bill, I'll ring you up in the afternoon and drain your brain. By the way, the grout is both bleached and cleaned. I cleaned it to get an idea of what I was up against. Cheers! John
