has anybody done any vacation property cleaning ? if so what do you charge?

Deb- ..it's like any other job, depends on the property and tenants that rented the place. I live in an area in which there are ton of small summer cottages on the lake, which are college student rentals in the winter. I usually charge $40-80 per house for summer weekly cleanings and $80- $175 for move out cleanings for the college slobs, opps I mean students. These houses are fairly easy to do, not elborate, all tile flooring and not a lot of gliz and glamor to them. Your basic beach cottage on the lake.

thanks for the information. i just got a call to clean a 4 bedroom and 2 &1/2 bath. he wanted me to him a price over the phone. and i told him i need to come over and look at the house. he was real nice and told me that would be fine. so i go friday to see the house.
