Dry strip is basically just using your black high pro pad or I use a new burgundy pad called Dominator that you use for stripping and attacking the floor. I have never been a proponent of dry stripping as it is not very effective. You are not using any stripper or water to emulsify the finish , you are trying to abrade the finish off the floor. Dusty , ineffective and I don't recommend.

I have never heard of Dry Stripping. So if it were me being asked to do this , I would simply ask what they meant by dry stripping and let them know I had never heard of it. After they explained it to me (according to what they say) I might then ask if I could do a small section to see if they were happy with the results. Also would ask why they want a so called , Dry Strip. If I were not happy with there explanations I would try to influence then into letting me , "Wet Strip" a small section to show them the difference in results. They did say they would furnish stripper and that throws off "dry" a little bit. Please let us know what you find out. I try to be open minded but it just sounds like an impossible task to do a good job with.
