If you are like me and knew nothing about Quickbooks before starting your business here is a sigh of relief. Its not as hard as it seems just a little bit of time and effort to go throughout the system and you will have it down pat. Even if you have someone handle these things for you I personally always recommend having at least a general body of knowledge. Some free resources that can get you prep and ready for the software:
Quickbooks Training
- Tutorial Part 1 -
- Tutorial Part 2 -
- Tutorial Part 3 -
- How to Write a Check in QuickBooks -
Quickbooks Trial
The trial itself also has a tutorial within it so you my take a look at them all. Making a dummy company and playing around with it for a while is a great idea if you want to gain some experience. Hope i been helpful to anyone that might use or might be thinking about using this software. There are also many different alternatives to this so don't limit yourself to one option. See what best fits you of course.

If you check out Best Buy the run some good deals on quickbooks. I recently got Pro 2009 and payroll for up to 3 people for only $99 for both.
