I just wanted to start an interesting topic about how everyone approaches cold clients. I typically send someone through what I call the qualifying process immediately when they become visible to me. If they fit the build of a potential client or contact I launch my attack. Normally I will target some specific conversation piece in the environment or on the individual and begin a casual conversation. Immediately following the carefully crafted small talk I ease in sales pitch, which will vary depending on who I’m speaking with. After that I make sure to get the name, number and any additional information they are willing to give up. Seems to work well for me so far! What are some of you guy’s sales pitches or ice breakers you use?
