Does anyone know what the percentage is for floor care? I carry workers comp which has actually helped me get more work. However I may get about 16 new stores that need stripping and waxing and then a monthly maintenance service. I can't do all these myself, so I thought about subing some of them out to other contractors. If they do not carry workers comp what percentage will workers comp charge me?

Can't tell where you are from so this may not be applicable. My company pays 3.24% for janitorial after 18 years with no claims and the PEER discount.

I'm in GA. I'm just trying to figure out my cost on paying guys to help strip some stores I'm working on getting, and I want to make sure that I cover that expense. I've got a policy that only covers my helpers, it doesn't cover me and it cost $901 a yr. plus a percentage of what I pay out.

You could easily find this out by calling your insurance agent. I do believe that it cost more for subs then for your own employees.
