I have a job that is all laminated wood (Pergo I believe). All it needs is a good scrub and recoat. Can I use the same type of wax I use on grocery stores with vct, or do I need to use a different type of wax, like an acrylic type wax? It's about 5400 sq. ft. total, what would be a good price for a scrub and apply one coat of wax?
Also I have another job that is all polished concrete, it needs a good scrub and recoat. What is a good sealer to use, and can it be applied with a mop?
Thanks for the info.

Okay, I'll give this one a shot, first, the laminate wood flooring I don't believe should have any finish applied to it, and I doubt if the finish would adhere. It is my understanding that most laminate flooring is a "film" applied over a sub strate of usually MDF or other particle board. This film will not accept a finish. Now , if you are talking about a quick click type of flooring that is legitimate wood, or in most cases has a vinyl, linoleum, et al type of veneer, it may be possible to apply a finish. However, considering the thinness of the finished layer, I would be extremely hesitant. What damage are you going to do when you have to strip or scrub this finish ? I suggest looking at the manufacturer's specs and following them. Secondly, the polished concrete flooring should NOT have any finish applied to it. If the job was done correctly, an impregnator was applied to the concrete when it was polished. The whole expense and premise of polished concrete was to curtail the need to apply a finish that will walk off. Hope this helps.
