Steve, Thats a nice looking machine, but im looking for something a little more smaller and inexpensive. I want to keep one in every commercial location, and with every residential crew. I have seen the small bissell extractors for $39.00 maybe ill go that route. My plan was to use it as a selling tool for example "Purity`s commercial and residential crews are equipped with carpet spotters for taking care of everyday accidents" but we also provide carpet cleaning. Spot removal from carpet is not included in any of our service agreements. I wonder if it will be negative towards the carpet cleaning profits. Almost all my commercial and residential clients call us for carpet cleaning, if we start taking care of the spots, will they no longer need to call ? hmmm sounds like a triple whammy I spend money to buy spotters , lose money on carpet cleaning accounts, yet maybe gain new customers.... pondering

I see. Alot of truck mount folks use the Powr-Flite spotter for call backs and small spot jobs because it is such a time consuming project to drag out those hoses. Even for guys using portables, you can get in and out in just a few minutes with the spotter. Time is money in this business.
My experience with the "home use" products from Hoover, Bissel and the like is that they are only marginally effective and certainly wouldn't hold up in a commercial application. They are injection molded and one good jolt rolling around in the van and they loose suction or leak. If you go that route for cost reasons, better treat it with great care.
Good luck.

Thanks Steve, So I bought two bissell extractors, put one with a residential team , and another with the commercial as a trial. The residential team said it is ok for small stains, but takes along time to remove, thay had to go over stain multiple times. The commercial team had no luck, I think because of the no padding in commercial location. I think ill have two bissell extractors to take back for a refund. ...lol. the home depot hates me. Will be purchasing your spotters.

I have the Bissell small upright. Don't remember where I purchased or how much. Bought it for home use and is only effective if you catch the spot immediately. I had the bigger model before and was not very durrable. I believe they make them to break so you have to order parts to repair. Bissell vacuums are the same way. Would never use in my business. The Powr-Flite Upright Heated Extractor we purchased a month ago is fantastic! We do have a bit of a problem when using the heater though. In the mobile and older homes it is hard to find outlets on 2 seperate circuts, so keep tripping breakers! Other than that it works great, is easy to transport and use. Customer service is great too. Bought it Online on a Saturday, service agent called to confirm order Monday, and it was delivered by Wednesday! WOW! One of the best equipment investments Crowz has ever made.
