We are mainly using encapsulation right now. It's a VLM system and is fast. Does a great job. We still extract as well at times.

Hi, Welcome to the Forum. It all depends where areyou going to do the Service. Encapsulation is a good method used nowadays. Used by a lot of Janitorial Companies Nationwide. Our company uses Encapsulation on Commercial Accounts mainly because of Effectiveness,Easy to Use,Quick Drying. On Residentials still the Best Method on my Opinion is Steam Cleaning as most Residentials are Padded Carpeting and the Fibers are mostly different fron Commercials. Still,IICRC,ASCR and the Carpet Rug- Institute prefers Steam Cleaning as its preffered Method. As you know Heat Kills Bacteria and other Microbes. Its all within your Preffered method and Equipment as long as you do a Good Job which will Satisfy your Clients. Which is your preferred method? The method that will work the best for the carpet type and soiling conditions, as well as any other considerations specific to the job at hand.
