those using the cimex, what are charging per sq.ft. and also how many sq.ft are you doing per hour.
I did a job today, I though it was bigger on my guest a bid, but I measured it when I did it. it was 8800 sq.ft. took me 5 1/2 hours. charged them .12 per sq.ft I was averaging 1600 sq.ft per hour. I was a little slow because my first time using the cimex and moving stuff around plus the 6 cigarette breaks. I made a $1000 on the job. which I thuoght was reasonably.. but any ways I'm trying to come up with a price for the encaping w/cimex, sooooo what are you charging on theses sizes
this is what I was considering
0 to 4999 = .15
5000 to 9999 = .12
10000 and up = .10
I was actually thinking of going lower on the 2nd and 3rd one.. like .10 and .08
what do you think?

Price should always be based on your cost of doing business and the amount of desired profit, not what others are charging.

We charge .12 for commercial customers, .15 - .18 for others. It's always faster and less hassle to clean carpets in a building you have access to already.
