what a nightmare i had today. Was booked in to clean a pub carpet.I like to do these around 7.00am.I turned up as agreed at ten to seven, knocked on the door,no answer.stood knocking on the door for ages finally got let in at ten past eight, great start.Carpet was covered in chewing gum patches so sprayed my prespray then set to work on the chewing gum. That took around 1 and a half hours.Swictched on the cleaner and the heater wasn`t working finally found a loose wire reconected it and away i went. After about ten mins noticed pressure had droped from wand.messed around with it for a while checked my uopholstery tool and pressure was fine,so the only thing i could think of was blocked nozzle on wand.there was nothing i could do about it there and i was around 40 miles from home so all i could do was use upholstery tool for spraying solution and carpet wand for sucking up water.Job took at least 3 hrs longer than it should of,i had to cancel my next job. However on the up side the landlord was delighted with the carpet and has agreed a 3 monthly clean.so i suppose its not all bad ;D

Adrian I know what you mean. We all have those days. But it makes us appreciate the good days when everything goes smooth a lot more. Patti
