How do you clean or get rid off the burn spots from the carpets?

you can't get rid of them, COMPLETELY. :-/you may have to get out the carpet shears.

You can remove the burn spots by doing a little surgery. Cut out the damages area and insert a piece of carpet from another area--closet or scrap-the new piece will not look the same becuase of wear and age. You can do this job yourself even without a carpet seam iron but practice first on a scrap piece so as to get some experience before tackling a job that you may be owning if bot performed properly
