I have one contract that has black marble flooring in the entrance and in the sitting area. Does anyone know what's a safe cleaning solution for marble. Currently my employees are using vinegar which doesn't leave any streaks as long as you also use a microfibre flat mop.

Exactly as Kevin has said, Black and green marble or the worst for being soft and very reactive. Using vinegar you are applying a mild acid and will discolour the stone. Only use a neutral pH detergent and in a mild dilution ratio. Remember, stone is extremely expensive to replace if you harm it, make sure you have all your knowledge before dealing with it.

Thanks guys I'll use some neutral cleaner. I'm still fairly green when it comes to different tyres of floors. This is my only contract with marble, I mainly work with VCT and carpeting.
Thanks again, Gary
