what is the best way to deal with complaints? I ve had one, they said we did not show up the night before, because the lights where left on.
Also what do you do about a missed visit (on your part).?

Oversights do happen, especially when you wear as many hats as "us" small business owners typically do! I would apologize for the oversight then I would immediately schedule the client for another appointment that is good for them, I would not get in the habit of giving additional services away you could be setting yourself up for continuous headaches. (I speak from experience) Most clients understand and appreciated an apology followed up by prompt, efficient service - also set yourself up a reminder system... that will help you in the future!
