Saw this on another board the Hypothetical bid? This is not an actual bid request but could be in the future for you. Here are the specifics. Busy auto Repair facility 3000 sq. ft repair facility, concrete floors in shop, 800sq ft ceramic flooring in office/reception. Owner wants 7 night a week cleaning, wants the bays cleaned to perfection oil and grease removed, tools and equipment wiped down, work stations cleaned, 4 bay doors about 20 windows each cleaned inside and outside monthly? In the office area, general cleaning quarterly floor plan to keep the floors in tip top shape. The current condition of the facility is below average. What would you bid, what are some areas of concearn that you think would be difficult to clean. If you have any questions ask I WILL ANSWER AS THE CUSTOMER

Customer states, "Yes we would like our expensive Snap-on-Tools wiped down nightly roughly about 75 tools, 2 tool cabinets , and our diagnostic equipment, monitors, air compressors etc wiped down Roughly 15 pieces of equipment... Thats a dissapointment ECBS clean we heard such good things about your company. Im just the general manager here, but my district supervisor wanted me to get a price quote as we have 9 locations within 50 miles of each other, and our new Vice President of operations is dedicated to a clean shop. Ill inform them your not intrested. Maybe another service would be willing to submit an offer?"

How many bathrooms? size or number of units? 3,800 total sq.ft.? Are they open for business 7 days? or is 7th day for major project work? Are the concrete floors sealed? if yes, with what? water base sealant or permanent sealer? Floor drains available for wash downs or does soiled solution have to be picked up? What about your current service has disappointed you the most?

Oh welcome, the last guy who gave us an estimate said the place was to much trouble. I hope you handle it. We have a double stall ladies room, and let me show you the mens room a urinal and of course a stall. Ceramic floors along with the walls you can see.The same in the ladies The stalls are built formica compound. Yes we are open 7 days a week,7am-5pm were very busy. Well its smart you brought up the floors were always getting written up over them, I told the boss they need to be sealed. Maybe now that we have a new Vice President it will happen. We are an enviromentally friendly company and would prefer that the grease and oil be properly extracted and placed in our refuse tank. But if it comes down to cost im not sure what they will choose, you better write it up both ways. Well our current service is the mechanics, this is going to be a new thing for us, the mechanics would hose down the floor at the end of the night, but lots of spots still there, and everything is always greasy, lots of traffic into the shop area, and I cant remember the last time that floor was cleaned good. So can you help us out? I need this estimate soon, or im fired, and you seem like a nice guy and all but I have to turn in three estimates, is there anything else I can show you?

Customer:
I wish you the best in finding a company that provides such a service. You did hear correctly, ECBS is a very good company with a solid reputation & years of experience. We are good at what we do & this is why I would decline on your offer to provide services that are outside our area of expertise. I will look to our association for a company that offers this service & have them contact you. Thank you again.
