How personal is too personal on the 'About Us' page of your website?? Should I tell exactly how I came into the business or give general info??
Thanks, Megan

Stick with verbage about your companies philosophies and strong points. Keep it general. Maybe a short paragraph about yourself, the year in wich your company was founded, possibly even contact info or location info, but be careful not to insert your life story. One thing that I do find carries a little bit of weight on the About page is listing years of experience, but they dont need to know any personal reasoning for choosing one career over another. My other job consists of writing web verbage and this is the basic rule of thumb.

I think you should let potential clients know something about yourself. That way they know what kind of person they are dealing with. You should always be real and honest in what you put on your website. People like that. They know they are dealing with an honest upfront person. Patti
