In your commercial cleans, doing the desk areas, if you come across a very busy desk, papers all over the place and such. Do you clean it?

We state on our proposals that if someone wants desk to be cleaned they should move their personal work and papers to center of desk or on desk pad (calender). We also ask them to send memo to everyone letting them know this. To date this has worked great. On further note ; we cleaned carpet in some offices once and there were a few stacks of paper on floor. We picked them up to clean carpet. We just sit them in order on a desk top. The next day we got a call from them. The person was upset that we moved their paper work. We apologized for this terrible thing we done. So now if we go in an office we tell them before cleaning carpet if any paperwork is left in floor we will go around it. And we have a few times since.
