Hi to all,I've found a company who's looking for independent janitorial contractors.I've been it the janitorial field for about 3 years now.(commercial)The past year i've been seriously wanting to start my own janitorial business.I think this comapny that's looking for independent janitorial contractors is a perfect fit.I know a lot about the janitorial field, the business side of it i still need lots of tips. This company that's looking for independent janitorial contractors is a Marketing Adminisrative Service Company. They will market my business to small and medium size business's.They said i will have to pay a one time $695.00 set up fee. This entitles up to $1k dollars in billing each month. They will get all the contracts,i will make 65% off of each contract.I have to provide my own transportation, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete each job. They supply customer billing, customer service, bonding, and liability insurance. This seems like a pretty good opportunity for me.They said i can set up an appointment to come in on Wednesday and ask more questions, etc.I need any and everybody on this forum to help me out as far as giving me every peice of advice possible on this opportunity.I think this will be great for starters for me.What should i know to help protect myself upon taking this opportunity.Do i need to have a business name?Someone just please leave me all the info i need to do in regards to this opportunity. Thanks everyone may god bless you.

Okay , let me get this straight. You pay a one time fee of $695.00 and they "market your business". The contracts are in their name, they bid the contracts, you supply labour , materials, employees, and get 65% of the revenue. Does not sound like a good deal to me. 1. What is to prevent them from underbidding to get business and you end up with a losing proposition? Sounds like MMM to me (Maintenance management Mafia ) in case you are new to the term. You have no , let me say it again, NO control in this situation. I recommend you run the other way and spend that $695.00 on some professional fliers and do some cold calling. I am sure there may be people who disagree with me.
