When you are starting your cleaning business, remember to always put your clients needs first. Go the extra mile for your clients and they will most certainly tell their friends and relatives about your company. It is the little personal favors that mean so much in a time when customer service is almost extinct. If you see something that needs to be done that you wouldn't normally do on a maintenance cleaning, go ahead and do this little extra service. Your clients will notice. If you have a client that needs an emergency Saturday cleaning and you normally don't work on Saturdays, do your best to accommodate them. I recently had this happen. A client was showing her home on Sunday and needed her home cleaned on Saturday afternoon while they were out. I couldn't get any of my help to work on this day so I went at 2:00 on a Saturday and cleaned for her myself. You wouldn't believe how much this meant to her. I have found over the years that it is the little things that mean so much to clients. Patti
