I think that you need to get a domain name and then you can decide your business name second. If your choosing a name for your business and the domain name is not available there are always ways things you can do. You can add characters such as a dash or number. The site below allows you to check domain names if available. Network SolutionsWhat came first the business name or the domain name for you?

Definitely good advice. My biz name is Home Business Forms but the address is www.businessformsstore.com. The reason is by the time I went out and got my own domain name instead of a sub-domain, it was not available. If I had known, I would've called myself Business Forms Store. Actually people call me that anyways. It is close enough that people don't get too confused.

Business name came first. Web site and hence domain name came a couple weeks later. Unfortunately, Freedomcleaningservices.com was taken, so I became freedomcleaningmn.com.
