Hi folks,
Just wanted to share a pleasant experience I had today. My business partner (my sister-in-law) and I went to walkthrough our first residential home today. This was and will probably remain the dream visit to a home. The place was extremely well kept... it was flawless. There was nothing at all that looked like it needed to be touched.
The residents were an older couple and were very friendly. They helped us to become a little bit less nervous (we were very slow to break the ice... it was rough) and the older gentleman even played piano and sang a Beatles song with me, "Let it Be."
They were a very interesting couple and seemed genuinely impressed with the way we presented ourselves. My partner sat in the kitchen with the wife going over our policies and our general service while I spent the next few minutes listening to the husband's life story, taking care not to talk about myself too much.
Without even waiting for the price, they were ready to set a schedule. They want us to clean twice a month, and want us to work around the husband's "nap schedule."
I don't think it will ever be as smooth as it was today. It was as if angels sounded trumpets as soon as we stepped foot out of the van and we walked on red carpets everywhere. Cause we sure felt like superstars today.
I just thought I would share this very pleasant first try.
