I put a bid for a 8 chain restaurant in their spec sheet it said for the hood to be cleaned once every 2 months any idea on what a HOOD is? I am assuming it is the exhaust must we be certifies to clean this?
WHATEVER KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE TO SHARE WOULD BE GREALTY APPRECIATED

hey mcm I think it's great that you got to bid on an 8 restaurant chain. As for the restrooms I'm not sure what you mean by " Dust from the ceiling down I guess I don't know what the difference is" ?. The difference between what ? When we clean restrooms we don't actually dust but sanitize all walls and floors and bright work.The only thing in restrooms we dust are the air vents.As for the cameo sounds like all gm's will be there

The HOOD is the big exhaust fan over the cooking area that takes away the smoke/steam/etc. from cooking.

we sub out to hood cleaning company's check with your town office and local fire dep to see if you need a cert in most towns you do if so just add in the price to sub it out but id have to say most restraint chains have to prove to the town codes enforcer that they are in compliance to the fire codes and have this done by a hood co hoods have fire suppression systems in them that you do need certs to clean
