I notice that some people say they do hotels. How do you get these type of accounts? I always thought hotels had their own housekeppin crew. How do you charge? It sounds like cleaning a house with a bunch of rooms.

That depends on several things. Location; amount of carpet; type of carpet; furniture to be moved; amount of spots-stains;odor control;does it require special chemicals;equipment required;what time of day and on what day(holiday);type of process you are using to clean carpet;access to carpet; protector; and what other types of floors you are cleaning? You should never limit yourself to a set price for carpet cleaning by the square foot. You need to be flexible, As each job is different.

Who was the contact for the Hotels? I would think that you would have to talk with the manager, but if it were a national hotel chain who is the decision maker?
