Hi Everyone. I operate my business very close to 3 mobile home dealers. There is something burning inside me - I NEED to make them my clients. LOL Does anyone out there have any clients such as these? I really do not know where to start. I would like to send them a letter or something. Should I go ahead and send a bid with the letter, and just turn the whole thing into a proposal up front? I've been to each before on personal time, so I know what it's like and I can count the number of mobile homes from the road. It seems to me that cleaning services would be important since these are show homes. How much would I charge per mobile home? I was thinking between $30-$50 somewhere, but that's a big gap between there. Would I charge differently for single wide and double wides? I have no employees, so it would just be me cleaning. Any advice?

I personally would say go for it they can only tell you no. They might would love to hire someone to clean the model trailers and would be a excellent oppurtunity for you to grow your business. Remember you will never know unless you introduce your business. Let me know what happpens.

I am curious if you sent a bid to the mobile home dealers and what happened with that? did you get a good response? there are several near my home as well and I have also thought of doing this but was unsure. The last time I checked they hired someone to clean them for a very small fee so I never went any further with this idea

My cousin cleaned for mobile home dealers. She charged $50.00 a home, but she said they sent her to several towns to clean alot of them so wasnt worth her time. She very seldom cleaned any on the lot and they eventually hired someone to do them for $8.00 an hour. I didnt go any further on this.
