I got this in PM & figured I would post it so someone with experience in this area could help this person. Hello, this is tcumper. I have been cleaning for years on the side. Most recently, turnovers and new construction. I would have posted this in a forum but I couldn't figure it out. I am starting my own business in turnovers with apartments and the like. The only pricing experience I have with that is out at Selfridge Air Base. I spoke to a woman who has 72 small apartments 600 to 900 sq. ft. and she said what she normally pays is $30.00 for a 600 sq foot, that includes windows, appliances and spot cleaning walls. I really don't think that could be true. What do you think the going price for move in move out in the Detroit Metropolitan area is these days? Thanks, tcumper P.S. You can post this if you want to I just didn't want to screw the site up.

Hello, I would look at a few things first here with the main thing being about how many turnovers are done per month. What is the usual condition of the "move outs" , how many windows. To me $30.00 is a tad low and combine that with if the move outs are usually destroyed and also are these windows 1 story up or 3 or more, how many buildings, reaching the outside of the windows could be fun if they dont pop out from inside.

I agree, $80, no less...if the stove and refrigerator are nasty(and they usually are on move outs/turnovers), $20 to $25 a piece
