A few of the members that are presently doing residential are starting to look at going into the commercial side of cleaning. I would like to start this thread for ideas or suggestions as how to get started and get clients in this field.
some of my thoughts: 1.Image is very important. If they are to trust you and hire you then you need to look and act professional. 2.Start off with small things that make an impact. Such as getting a couple of nice shirts, em bordered at a local shop. A simple brief case or bag. A nice clean look. Business cards - from printing company, not on your on computer. 3. Prepare yourself by reading articles, reading post on IJCSA, researching on the Internet. 4. Getting to know your potential clients through events;meetings; phone calls; lunches; so on 5. Business relations are very important. Clients need to be comfortable with you to hand over there keys. 6. You need to be able to handle what you are trying to get. If the need for a lot of equipment comes up , can you handle it. Know your limitations.
These are just a few. If anyone has any suggestions that can help with someone just starting out in commercial cleaning please post them here as well as any encouraging thoughts.
