I need help with a bid for a commercial office. It is 3,000 sq ft. It has 18 rooms to clean 3 are small bathrooms. All of the offices need to be vacuumed and dusted. Plus most of them have mini blinds that need to be dusted. She is very meticulous. She wants the windows inside and out done. (should this be an extra?) All pictures on the desks she wants dusted. The kitchen she wants all counters, sink, and cabinets washed and floor swept and washed. She wants the lobby vacuumed and move the furniture to vacuum under it. All furniture vacuumed. I'm new at this and really want to land this job!!!!

How much furniture? How many desks to dust (offices) ? Plus roughly, how many windows, mini-blinds?

There are 9 desks, around 13 bookshelves with countertop ledges,I believe there are 12 windows with mini-blinds on them that are from floor to ceiling. 2 couches and 12 chairs.

How would you describe the current condition of the place? on a degree of messy 1-10, sounds as the woman is so meticoulous it is probaly real clean. Also is it a standard office, not like a industrial office that is hooked to a industrial plant?

It is about a 4. It is a standard office they are not industrial nothing is built there. When I was there for the walk through she showed me what the cleaning people that were there this weekend didn't do. Didn't dust a few counters or vacuum behind tables. And she didn't like the fact the pictures on her desk were all dusty. She is meticoulous but I understood what she was complaining about.

I think this should get you the deal. Sounds similar to one we do. $105 per visit weekly. Windows included monthly, Charge a $100 fee for the mini-blinds quarterly or as needed. Charge $50 for vacuum of the furniture as needed, or throw it in as the deal clincher.
Get the place up to shape and should be smooth sailing after that.

Thank You so much!!! The 105.00 was what I was thinking but I didn't know if it was to low. This site is great. It has really taught me a lot about the cleaning business.
Is there a formula to figuring out bids??? I have read some books but they really haven't helped me.
