Could be real. (Do this no matter what time it is when you read this) . You just recieved a call from the emergency room. One of your employees; or spouse; or someone on your job site was found passed out on the floor. Next to them was a bottle of one of the cleaning products you normally use on your jobsite. They need a MSDS sheet to know how to give first aid to the person. Their life may depend on getting this info fast.
Now see how long it takes you to get a copy or email of the MSDS sheet for one of your cleaning products that you use . The clock is ticking now.
Forget about OSHA. This is a human life that you are responsible to provide the info the Doctor needs. Every minute counts. Every second counts. You have already used 3 seconds.
Don't think about this post until you have your copy. Then report back here as to how long it took. After that do another product you use.

Took me three minutes to get the MSDS (and my apologies to the cat...should have turned on the light!)
Thanks, Dan. Sobering post!

About 40 seconds.
Great Post! I think whatever company you are buying your products from should have a MSDS online. I think that is just plain and basic safety, along with courtesy. NO MSDS online, no website. you should look for another supplier.

Very good post. Made me make a change on our website & client portal. Now our MSDS sheets are in PDF form right from our webpage & clients are directed there from portal.
So next time you ask I should be able to say "click, click" there they are
