Everybody is bundling up today. Man,..... it is cold out there. So for winter window washing , we use thinsulate or gortex gloves, then chemical gloves (rubber) over the internal gloves. (can be found at the Home Depot for 3.99 a pair) Warm hats, longjohns, wool socks, warm waterproof boots. I`m sure some of you are much colder than we are. Any tips for Winter Window Washing Survival? Get out of the cold!A good article on Frostbite Recognizing, Treatments and Preventive Measures www.healthscout.com/ency/68/453/main.html

Kevin: We use silk gloves inside the Unger window washing gloves, the neoprene skin diver type ones. Works excellent. Of course outside clothing hats , coats etc. to keep warm and deflect the wind. Find biggest problem is ice build up on metal pole or back of squeegee.
