So we have experimented with several plastic containers for our residential box of cleaning goodies. We have found the best is milk crates. Just in case a chemical opens? What do you use? Oh yes one of my pet peeves . Is anyone who is done with a cleaning chemical bottle and does not turn it to off, or snap the little plastic thing in front of the sprayer closed

We use the extra large buckets from home depot. They are actually mop buckets with one side for wash water and the other for rinse but they make great carriers for cleaning supplies because they hold so much. They run 10.95 each. Patti

We have the mop bucket as well.. The red two sided square one, Plus we have another red round mop bucket..
Seems using a crate(with holes) is asking for an accident.. Do you line it with plastic or something to help prevent spills? I'm assuming the crate has holes, Right?

Well we used to use plastic crates and buckets. Then a chemical would spill and coat everything in it, papertowels, brushes etc. So we use milk crates now and if theres a spill it goes on the work vans floor (which is bedliner coated) and not in the box ruining the rest of the stuff. Back of work vans are cleaned bi-weekly.

A five gallon bucket with a bucket apron, wet and nasty on the inside, everything else in a pocket.

We also use Custom Shelf Units in our Van for Chemicals. One Side for Chems and One Side for Spray Bottles and Other Stuff.
